Champions League quarter-final draw: Man City face Real Madrid; Arsenal up against Bayern

Defending champions Manchester City are set to face Real Madrid in the knockout stages once again with UEFA unveiling the fixtures list for the Champions League quarter-finals on Friday.

Besides the mouthwatering City-Madrid clash, Premier League leaders Arsenal face six-time champions Bayern Munich while five-time winners Barcelona face 2020 runners-up Paris Saint-German. Atletico Madrid, who defeated Inter Milan in thrilling fashion on penalties, face Borussia Dortmund in the other quarter-final clash.

Here is the full quarter-final lineup for this year’s UEFA Champions League:

The Pep Guardiola-coached City had defeated Madrid with a 5-1 aggregate in last year’s Champions League semi-finals, winning the home leg 4-0 after holding the 14-time UCL champions to a 1-1 draw in the away leg.

Man City would then go on to defeat Inter 1-0 in the final in Istanbul to win their maiden Champions League title and complete a trophy sweep that season as a result.
