Man City defender, Josko Gvardiol has revealed that the team deserved more than just one point against Arsenal in Sunday’s Premier League game.

Recall that both teams settled for a 0-0 draw, which keeps them third in the league table.

Reacting to the result, the Croatian star told the club’s official website, that the Gunners were too defensive in their approach against Man City at the Etihad Stadium.

“I’m happy, but I don’t want to talk about my performance,” the defender stated.

“I want to talk about the team performance today, and the way we performed and if you ask me, we deserved much more than just the point but we need to move on to the next one.”

“That’s football,” Gvardiol added.

“In some games there won’t be many opportunities to score a goal but when you get a chance you need to score it and we could’ve scored at the end with a corner kick, but we didn’t.

“The good thing is we didn’t lose, and a point means we are still in the game to fight for a title and there’s still a long journey, so we just need to be on the highest level till the end of the season.”
