Former Chelsea star William Gallas has said Mykhailo Mudryk can help Arsenal win the Premier League title next season if they sign him in the summer.
Mudryk appeared to favour Arsenal over Chelsea as he looked to leave Shakhtar Donetsk in January 2023.
But Chelsea outbid their London rivals to bring him to Stamford Bridge.
Mudryk, however, has blown hot and cold in West London, with competition for places keeping him from enjoying a sustained run in the side.
Arsenal moved for Leandro Trossard after missing out on Mudryk, and have begun to reap the benefits, though the Belgian is himself not an automatic starter.
Questions have been asked about Chelsea’s need to sell players this summer to fit in with profit and sustainability rules.

While the former Shakhtar Donetsk star isn’t necessarily for sale after Chelsea spent a lot to bring him to the club, Gallas shares former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder Emmanuel Petit’s belief that the winger would be a good fit for Mikel Arteta’s team.
“I know that Emmanuel Petit spoke about Mykhailo Mudryk potentially joining Arsenal, as Arteta likes him,” Gallas told Gambling Zone, via Mirror.
“Mudryk could be a good fit, with his speed and quality and that’s why Arteta likes him.
“Before he signed for Chelsea, Arsenal nearly signed him but he changed his mind and you cannot forget that. I said before that Arsenal will win the title next year, not this year, and if they sign Mudryk that could help them.”
