Inter Miami midfielder Sergi Busquets says he’s optimistic Xavi will win more laurels for Barcelona next season.

He made this known on the backdrop of Xavi’s decision to remain with the club after initially tendering his resignation as manager.

But former Barca captain Busquets in a chat with AS, stated that next season promises to be great for Xavi.

“I’m very happy about it, if it’s what he and the club want.

“I hope it comes with results, which is the most important thing.

“This year it wasn’t to be, but I have a lot of optimism for next season.”
