Man United’s Rashford and Martinez Makes A Return ahead of Arsenal clash

Manchester United’s team training sessions before Sunday’s Premier League match against Arsenal at Old Trafford have received a significant boost with the return of forward Marcus Rashford (26) and centre-back Lisandro Martinez (26), as announced by the club on Thursday.

Rashford sustained an injury during the FA Cup semi-final against Coventry City, which resulted in a United victory on penalties after initially giving up a 3-0 lead at Wembley Stadium.

Having missed three games since then, the English international who has recorded eight goals and five assists in all competitions this season is back in contention for selection following his recovery.

On the other hand, Argentine defender Martinez is also back in training after dealing with a calf strain sustained during United’s 1-1 draw with Brentford back in March.

As the team prepares for the upcoming fixtures, Manchester United currently occupies the eighth spot in the league table with 54 points and three matches left to play. Their opponents, Arsenal, currently lead the table with 83 points, just one ahead of reigning champions Manchester City who have a game in hand.
