Golden Eaglets head coach Manu Garba says his side will beat Burkina Faso in their opening game at the WAFU B U-17 Championship.

Garba will begin the defence of their title against the same opponent they beat in the final two years ago.

Victory against the Burkinabes will certainly boost the morale of the Eaglets, who are firm favourites to win the title again.

The experienced tactician is optimistic his side will get the better of their opponent.

“We have the confidence we will beat Burkina Faso,” the experienced tactician told a press conference.

“We’re hopeful of the maximum points today.”

The encounter slated for the University Stadium, Accra will start at 4pm Nigeria time.

Niger Republic and Benin Republic will also clash in the other group game today.
