Mohamed Salah suggests that he will be at Liverpool next season

Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah (31) has indicated that he intends to remain at the Premier League club despite the departure of manager Juergen Klopp. Salah, who is from Egypt, made this statement on Monday evening.

With Klopp leaving after almost nine years in charge and Feyenoord coach Arne Slot being officially announced as his successor, there were doubts about Salah’s future at Liverpool, especially since his contract expires in June 2025.

During the offseason, there were rumors linking the 31-year-old to a move to the Saudi Arabian league. Towards the end of the season, Salah, who is Liverpool’s top scorer, seemed to be slightly out of form as their title challenge faltered.

However, after Slot was unveiled as Liverpool’s new coach on Monday, Salah expressed his team’s aspirations for the upcoming season and bid farewell to Klopp.

“We understand that winning trophies is what matters, and we will do everything in our power to achieve that next season,” Salah wrote in a social media post. “Our fans deserve it, and we will fight relentlessly.”

Salah also shared a picture of himself with the former Liverpool manager, captioning it, “It was a pleasure to win trophies and share experiences with you over the past 7 years. I wish you the best of luck for the future, and hopefully, our paths will cross again.”
