Legendary Super Eagles captain Sunday Oliseh has expressed sadness following his former club Borussia Dortmund’s loss to Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League final on Saturday night inside Wembley stadium.
After missing numerous opportunities in the first half, it was Madrid who eventually took the lead on 74 minutes as Dani Carvajal rose highest to head home Toni Kroos’corner.
With seven minutes left Madrid doubled their lead this time through Vinicius Junior off an assist from Jude Bellingham.

It is now a record-extending 15th Champions League title for the LaLiga champions.
For Dortmund, winners of the competition in 1997, they have now lost in back-to-back Champions League finals. They lost 2-1 to Bayern Munich in 2013 also inside Wembley stadium.
Reflecting on the defeat Oliseh, who played for Dortmund from 2000 to 2004, however, praised Carlo Ancelotti for a superior tactics in the second half.
He wrote on his X handle:”Sad that my club BVB Dortmund could not lift the Champions league trophy today after putting up a good fight, but the Quality of the Real Madrid players and the tactical and personnel changes Carlo Ancelotti made in the 2nd half made the difference. and Camavinga?”
