The Frenchman expressed his thoughts on Instagram, sharing a photo of Vinicius Junior scoring in the Champions League final with the caption. ‘Vinicius for Ballon d’Or’.
Vinicius ended the season with an impressive record, tallying 24 goals and 10 assists across 39 appearances for Real Madrid.
However, the Brazilian is sure to face stiff competition from Bellingham in his hope of winning one of football’s most prestigious individual honours.
