Cole Palmer continued his impressive debut season for Chelsea as he bagged a brace in their 2-2 home draw against Burnley in the Premier League on Saturday.
Palmer opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 44th minute and also scored on 78 minutes to make it 2-1.
According to the organiser of the English topflight, Premier League, Palmer’s first goal means he is the first Chelsea player to score in five straight League home matches since Eden Hazard.
His brace against Burnley takes his tally to 13 in 24 league fixtures for the Blues this season.
Despite the disappointing draw against Burnley, who had a player and manager (Vincent Kompany) sent off, Chelsea are unbeaten in their last five games.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men have won three and drawn two of their last five fixtures in all competitions.
