Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk has urged his teammates to start games aggressively in order not to get behind anymore.

Recall that Liverpool had to come from behind to defeat Sheffield United 3-1 in Thursday’s Premier League game at Anfield.

The win moves the Reds back to the top of the EPL table.

However, in a chat with TNT Sports, Van Dijk stated: “We could’ve gone behind quite early in the game.

“We have to start games much better, much more aggressive and that’s something we have to work on.

“It says a lot about the team, the resilience, how we bounce back and how we could change the game. That’s what happened today as well.

“Obviously going from a draw and changing it around in the last 15 minutes is a great thing and at this stage as well it’s all about the points, you can’t drop any.”
