Enzo Maresca is on the verge of signing a five-year contract at Premier League giants Chelsea to become their new head coach.

This was disclosed by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano on his X handle.

Chelsea are looking to get a new Coach following the exit of Argentine manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Maresca masterminded the immediate return of Leicester City back to the Premier League.

His impressive performance for the Foxes attracted interest the Blues board, with Romano confirming that the deal is close to be finalized.

“Documents are being signed for Enzo Maresca to become new Chelsea manager on five year deal, with option until June 2030.

“Contracts being completed on manager side and also for compensation fee to Leicester City, in excess of €10m.”
