Philadelphia Union take on Liga MX club Cruz Azul in Leagues Cup play this weekend at Subaru Park.

The Union are riding high into their clash against Cruz Azul having already secured three points last weekend against fellow MLS side Charlotte FC. Tai Baribo’s first-half strike was enough for Jim Curtin’s team to get the positive result over one of the strongest sides in North America as they sit in first place in East Group 4 with three points.

Cruz Azul, on the other hand, fell in their opening Leagues Cup fixture against Charlotte FC 0-0 (4-2 on penalties). The Liga MX giants will hope to get back on track and recapture their impressive form that in the 2024 Apertura campaign to climb out of the bottom of the group to reach the Round of 32.
